Where'd my website go?

Not to North Dakota because I was there and didn't see it.
The site has been blank because moveable type has this sweet deal where content is not shown after 2 weeks or so, even if it's the newest thing out there. This means joe not posting turns into no posts on the website. Booooooo.
Well, as I mentioned I was in ND for jackie and eric zwingel's wedding. It was a good time. The wedding itself was nice and not terribly long. The reception was a desert reception, the wedding started at 7pm so I don't think anyone expected dinner, and was full of great dishes like chocolate dipped strawberries and bars galore.
The train ride out there was uneventful, I slept a fair bit of the way and was pretty similair to a longer plane ride. The drive back was okay, we had a book on tape that was decent except the end but that wasn't reached until we were in maple grove so I grumbled about it for the last 20 minutes of the drive.
I moved on monday. I now live with Paul Boyum in the 535 building of the Palisades of Roseville. It sounds fancy and the place kinda lives up to it. It's nice, I dig it. Swing by sometime and check it out.
Right now my room is a box sanctuary, I moved but have yet to unpack, and I also have not fulfilled my responsability as the couch/coffetable buyer so our living room is my tv and a giant plant. I think the plant might harbor intelligent life, more on that to come.
Thats about all I have to say for now. Let me know if you have any suggestions for a couch. I'm thinking in the $300 - $600 range.

Now I can sleep easy...

/. story. 'nuff said.
On the non-nerdy side of things brooke and I went to a Rilo Kiley ( warning: flash site with sound ) show at first ave. on Saturday night. Travis showed up so that was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. The openers were okay, one of the bands I've seen once and Travis has seen like 6 times, he says they open for every omaha band that comes through town and there's a lot of those apparently. Between the two of us we figured that Saddle Creek is the new Vagrant, that's why the teen crowd showed up.
Rilo Kiley was really good live. The show was hoppin' and they were really into it, which makes or breaks it regardless of skill.
I think the best part of the night is a tie between the 3 girls that had poor excuses for shirts on that ran from the first ave to the nearest bar and the 16 year old girl that was putting her Rilo Kiley bumper sticker on as we drove out of the parking garage. Good stuff.
Thirdly, Natalie, what have you done?

The new weezer cd....

...is decent. I picked it up after my lunch with a large group of my friends from Bethel and the brooke, who would fall into the friends from Bethel category but most likely warrents specific mention as she rarely partakes in lunch runs as far as I know.
It sounds more similair to the green and blue albums than it does to maladroit which I would call a good thing, at least for me. I'd say check it out, heres the iTMS link to get you started. And for the iTunes impaired out there here is an amazon link so you can fawn over the cover art. The cd itself has what appears to be a stag beetle on it, interesting.

Things not to buy used

Food, underwear and submarines. The fact that the thing had been decommissioned in the 90's would be alarming to me. Plus the fact that it was deemed "seaworthy" but that somehow seawater was able to splash onto high power cables is very disturbing. That seems like should be a checkbox on the seaworthy checklist, "high power cables aren't exposed....check".
