the Canadian RIAA did a study showing that those that use Peer to Peer file sharing are well on the path to moral ruin. I know that you, the record industry, likes to make a big fuss but really guys, file swappers are cheaters and shoplifters? What's next, insulting their mothers?

Freaking Sweet
Armed dolphins escape the military. Why would you not take the toxic dart guns off of the dolphins when you weren't training them? Or at least unload them. I'd be really interested to see the firing mechanism.

Silly Sci-Fi channel
Okay, random thing. Why does the Sci-Fi channel always make their own crappy movies and then give them shoddy names? Like tonight, I'm channel surfing and see that they're playing "Dino-Croc" and there were trailers for the movie after that "raptor island". C'mon guys, you could try harder. I'm waiting for their next budget busting phenom "big scary bug things".

Seriously, what will come of it though? More finger pointing? I don't think anyone will believe that the government learned from their mistakes until another big event like this happens and they get it right.

A blog from New Orleans
So I heard a rumor that a internet hosting company was still online and had people in their center in New Orleans. I found a link to their blog off of theregister.com and read it. It seems unreal. Other reports I've read is equating what is happening down there to the lord of the flies and this blog seems to back that up. I can only hope now that the big boy army has shown up that something will get straightened out.
I know that there was talk in the hall today about building a city in a bowl between a river and the ocean was dumb. I'd have to say I concur with that but right now I just hope they can get in there and save people.
I wish I was a sociology student looking for a thesis because this would be amazing to study. To look at the 9/11 tragedy and see how people were in general very strong and selfless and then this where all hell has broken loose and chaoss rules. Unreal.....
