Sooo.....what's.....new?

Well, I feel like all I do is link things I think are funny, which is pretty much the case, so I'm going to take a moment and do a cheesy Christmassy thing and ask people what was a) the favorite present you received b) favorite present given ( the one you were most excited to see the other person open) and c) something you're thankful for.

I'll go first:

a) Either Fight Club the book or my Goonies dvd.
b) It hasn't been given yet so I don't want to spill the beens ( I know it's nearly a week after xmas but it's a long story and mom, I promise this one doesn't end with 'surprise, you're a grandma' ;) )
c) I'm really excited that my sister is in India right now on a trip with her school.
I hope she doesn't try to milk an elephant <--- obligatory "country kid goes over seas" joke.

Fun with Chuck

So, my buddy Mike pointed me at list of Chuck Norris's greatness and the list is mighty comprehensive. Check it out, be warned there are swears but you will laugh quite hard.
UPDATE: okay, there are a lot of swears and the Vin Diesel section is not appropriate for children or my mom.

Sweet skit from last weeks SNL

I've been telling people about this all day and came across a link so now you'll all see what I've been yapping about. Go see it here. Warning, the random links inserted at the bottom of the page are sometimes not super appropriate for work, but that's the exception and not the norm in my experience.

As the web spins

Hey, so remember those ipod shuffle -> cross neck thingys? Well, a few of us thought they were fake, especially due to the "bible" qoute on the webpage. Well, a website did a peice called the 12 days of kitschmas and #6 was the lanyard. I would be able to write this off as them also being funny but then the the BBC picked it up and has a few of the 12 items in pictures, and it in no ways seems to be a joke in the way they present it.
Is this a case of a joke being taken seriously or are these things for real? If you fill out the order form it takes you to paypal, seems like this might be a real product.
