Great translation of a clothing tag

From Digg, American company making clothes for France uses tag to apologize for Bush.
Well played.

A little banter between friends

Digg had a link to a blogpost chronicling an exchange of words by car companies via some ads. It's good for a quick laugh, check it out.

Another reason the man sucks

From /., they're making a
war games sequal. The article states that the original staff is not involved and they're suing the owner of the domain "wargames.com" for the right to the domain. Way to engender ill-will from your target fanbase you knobs.

Dear big corporate types,
I know you like money. Recent down turns in smoking, SUV's and other normally profitable endeavors probably have you bummed out.
That being said, I'd really like you to back off on your recent upswing in ANWAR style drilling expeditions into my generations collective youth in an effort to turn a new dollar on an old memory.
There's been a rash of remakes for the last 2 - 4 years and while a few of them have been palatable, Batman Begins for one, I'm going to say those were the lucky ones and that it was because you either accidentally hired good people or the original authors controlled some rights to their IP.
Please just ease up and try to come up with some new ideas or at least spin the old ones in such a way as to not tarnish my nostalgically grandiose childhood.
Also, so help me, if you hose Transformers for me, I'm going to put you in the crappiest retirement home you've ever seen in about 15 years, one of those homes with abusive nurses that used to be British, baby shaking nannies. Then we'll see what's what.
Maybe I'll just fund a crappy Matlock remake where he's played by Ashton Kutcher and then you'll see that some thing are better left alone.

UPDATED: I noticed one of my manner grammar errors and correct it...that is all.

When did reporter = fiction writer?

So, digg had a link a piece run by CNN in which they look at Obama's casual dress style. They compare bush and kerry's '04 attire and look at JFK and Reagan. They then compare Obama to Mahmoud Ahmadineja, President of Iran and second high crazy pants.
Nice guys....real subtle. I'm sure that's the only prominent political figure in the world that rolls a shirt and coat but no tie. :/

Great use of stock photo's

So, I'm reading an article on the BBC about the KGB's influence increasing under Putin.
Hit the link and look at the two pictures. In my mind, they're subconsciously saying "he's a gun happy, super hero wannabe".

Again, wikipedia is awesome

So, long story short, I was reading Steve Wozniak's wikipedia entry and found this tidbit:

"At his high school reunion, he reconnected with Suzanne Mulkern, former head cheerleader and homecoming queen, and the two were married in 1990."

There is something so awkwardly great about that...like real life revenge of the nerds.....anyway, I thought that was worth sharing.

My Life, in pictures

In lieu of real information, here are some images I saw this week and I liked for various reasons.
An excerpt from a visual Wii safety guide.
A comment on my life, primarily as it pertains to work and in general to any social situation I find myself in.
