Aqua Teen trailer
I saw the Aqua Teen trailer and thought I'd share.
I'll most likely see this in the theater's, hoping the shift from 15 minutes to 2 hours goes well, or at least better than the Mr. Bean movie ( that was not fun ).

Oh, and I have vicadin so I'm doing A-okay.
That is all.

I'm sick and looking at grad school
So, for once, it's just about me.
I'm sick. The Doc says it's viral ( not strep ) so I guess it's a waiting game.
I'm hoping this one turns out better than the one I'm playing with Rachel Leigh Cook ( I'm 0 - 1287 for coming home one day and her being on my door step, ring in hand and DB9 in the driveway).
Also, I'm looking at this whole grad school thing. I'm studying for the GRE's and I'm going to meet with an old professor to talk about things to do to make myself look better on paper. If anyone has advice or input, send it my way.

An observation I made
So, I was looking at all the shiney new apple stuff, the iPhone, the AppleTV and the new airport extreme base station.
It sounds like the main "new" thing in the airport extreme basestation and a big plus for the AppleTV is that they have implemented the draft spec of 802.11n, which is meant to be markedly faster than 802.11g. The Wikipedia entry says the theoretical max is 540 Mb/sec.
That's all fine and great, more pipe between stuff in my house is always appreciated. The thing I find odd, both of those pieces of hardware have 10/100 ethernet ports. This means that they can push more data wirelessly than they can wired.
Does this seem awkward to anyone else? For two pieces of hardware for which communicating with other devices is of a major concern, that their ability to communicate over hardline would dwindle behind their wireless equivalent?
I like wireless, it's neat, but I don't think wired is dead and I'm surprised apple, of all companies, wouldn't give those of us that want the gig-E option the ability to do so. Most any non-lappy mac has had gig-E for some time, and every single current mac has gig-E. How does it come to pass that their wirless basestation ( with 4 ports ) and their media hub doesn't have it?
It's been integrated into motherboards for quite some time, even cheep ones so I can't think that the reason to leave gig-E out would be a cost based one.
I'm left to think it was intentional, but does that mean they're pushing us towards some inevitable wireless future, whether we want it or not?
Anyone have any thoughts?

One more for the list
Apparently we're now bombing in Somalia. It looks like the interim president is on board, but his grasp on power is tenuous at best ( it took another country's army backing him in a big way for him to set foot in the main city/port ).
I've got to wonder if this is a signal of significant involvement by the US in Somalia's government attempt to reassert itself :/
If so, it would sure be a great place to stick all those extra troops we have milling about, doing nothing.

Cat fight
I guess Geraldo wants to fight Olbermann. ( Link found via digg).
I think Keith would work the floor with Geraldo but that'd be a great episode of celebrity boxing. Maybe we could get Newt and Moore to go at it too, that'd be classic. First one to not have a stroke wins.
